Dr. Adrian Vale is a brilliant but morally broken scientist who once worked alongside Tony Stark in the field of advanced energy research. Unlike Tony, who learned to use his intelligence to protect people, Adrian became obsessed with proving that humanity could be "evolved" through unlimited power.
After an experiment involving an unstable green energy source goes wrong, Adrian bonds with the energy and gains terrifying abilities. He becomes a living reactor, surrounded by emerald flames and supernatural-looking energy. To the world, he appears like a monster — but deep down, he still believes he is the hero of his own story.
Adrian is not driven by simple destruction. He believes Tony represents everything wrong with humanity: someone who creates powerful technology but only uses it when disaster happens. Adrian wants to become the person who decides humanity's future.
