The Caller is one of the game's main supporting characters. Throughout the game, they guide the player through a series of phone calls, explaining nightly tasks while gradually reacting to increasingly unsettling events.
We're looking for a natural, conversational performance. The Caller is not a narrator, announcer, or radio host, they're a coworker speaking to someone they've worked with before. The dialogue should feel genuine and unscripted, as if you're having a real phone conversation.
As the story progresses, the performance should naturally evolve from calm and reassuring to uncertain, concerned, and ultimately panicked during the game's finale.
What we're looking for:
Natural, believable delivery.
Good emotional range.
Clear microphone quality.
Ability to take direction and record retakes if needed.
Please avoid overly dramatic, robotic, or text-to-speech-like delivery.
What in the world are you doing?! (*Panicked, semi-screaming*)
They're worth a lot of money now, so management wants someone watching them overnight. You'll have access to the security cameras from your office. (*Casual*)
Good news and bad news.Good news is all the cargo's finally loaded.Bad news is, the captain still hasn’t shown up, and management wants the ship fueled and ready to leave anyway.
