[REQUIRED VOICE STYLE: CHARLOTTE FROM MAKING FIENDS]

Toodles needs a voice that is pure, unyielding cartoon sunshine! We are looking for an actress who can deliver an incredibly high-pitched, aggressively cheerful, and bubbly performance.

Key vocal elements to focus on for this role:

• The Singsong Rhythm: She should not speak in a flat, regular tone.

Her words should bounce up and down with a musical, melodic cadence-almost like she is making up a happy little jingle on the spot.

• Bulletproof Optimism: No matter how grumpy or intense other characters sound around her, her voice must remain completely unbothered, sugary-sweet, and full of giggly energy.

• Breath Control: Deliver her lines with a breathless, rapid-fire excitement, letting her voice naturally pitch upward into pure, innocent joy on words like "Yay!" or "Cookies!"

The sides they read from:
  • (The Singsong School Greeting) Context: Toodles jumps right into the middle of the school plaza on the first morning, exploding with pure, unyielding joy as she introduces herself.[Singsong delivery, incredibly high-pitched, and bouncing with pure cartoon excitement]"Hi, everybody! Welcome, welcome, welcome! Yay, it’s the first day of school! The lockers are shiny, the floors are clean, and the sun is smiling at us! Do you want to be best friends?! I think we should all be best friends right now!"

  • (The Grumpy Locker Interaction) Context: Toodles tries to cheer up a grumpy, cynical classmate by naming a broken piece of sheet metal. This tests her ability to stay sweet and oblivious to bad vibes. [Aggressively cheerful, high-pitched, and giggling with absolute, unbothered sweetness] "Hi, Dyle! Yay! Your locker door is doing a little dance! Do you want to name it? I think we should name it Barnaby! Hi, Barnaby! Oh, Dyle! You're so silly! Barnaby loves you! Let's go bake him some cookies with Bobette! Yay, cookies!"

  • (The Kindergarten Crafting Loop) Context: Toodles is sitting at a small table layout with Shelly and Gourdy, getting hyper-excited about a simple box of crayons. [Rapid-fire excitement, letting your voice naturally pitch upward into pure, innocent joy] "Hi, Shelly! Yay! Look at all those pretty crayons! They look like a rainbow that took a little nap in a box! Can I play?! Let's draw a picture of a giant smiling sun that drinks chocolate milk! Oh, Gourdy! You're so smart! Green paper is the bestest ever! It feels like grass for our drawings to walk on!"
