The Video Editor is responsible for transforming raw gameplay footage into fun, engaging, and family-friendly YouTube videos. From exciting Minecraft adventures and roleplays to multiplayer challenges and cozy gaming moments, your edits will help bring the Colorverse universe to life.

We're looking for someone who understands YouTube pacing and can create entertaining videos while preserving each creator's personality. Great editing should enhance the story without overwhelming it.

Responsibilities

• Edit gameplay videos, roleplays, challenges, and collaborative content.

• Cut unnecessary footage while maintaining a natural flow.

• Add subtitles, transitions, zooms, music, and sound effects where appropriate.

• Sync audio and gameplay footage.

• Help maintain a consistent editing style across the Colorverse channel.

• Work closely with the team to meet upload schedules.

• Accept feedback and make revisions when needed.

• Organize project files for future edits.

Requirements

• Experience editing YouTube videos.

• Proficiency in one or more editing programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut Desktop, VEGAS Pro, or similar software.

• Strong understanding of pacing, comedic timing, and storytelling.

• Ability to work with multiple audio tracks and gameplay recordings.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Reliable and able to meet deadlines.

• A portfolio or examples of previous editing work is highly encouraged.

Bonus Skills

• Motion graphics and simple animations.

• Color correction and audio balancing.

• Experience editing Minecraft or gaming content.

• Creating captions and engaging visual effects.

• Basic thumbnail or graphic design knowledge.

Audition Requirements

Please include:

• 2 to 5 examples of videos you've edited (YouTube links or downloadable files are both acceptable).

• A brief introduction about yourself and your editing experience.

• The editing software you primarily use.

• If possible, edit a short 30:60 second gaming clip to showcase your editing style, pacing, subtitles, transitions, and use of sound effects. This is optional but highly encouraged.
