Marinette Dupain-Cheng is one of the two titular main protagonists (alongside Adrien Agreste) of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir and Miraculous World. She is a former student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont in Paris, France, and a budding fashion designer who wants to have her own brand one day.
She's currently in a relationship with Adrien Agreste.
With the Ladybug Miraculous, when inhabited by Tikki, Marinette transforms into the superhero Ladybug, who gains the power of Creation. She is tasked with keeping Paris safe from akumatized villains and many other threats. She is also the leader of The Miraculers.
