Liz is a fairly shy and reclusive hacker who is pretty anti-social and remains quiet around the group, only really talking when necessary.  She speaks using a text-to-speech translator by rapidly typing out what she wants to say since she lost her vocal chords in an accident a few years ago.  She was able to program the text-to-speech device using her computer skills as she is a former computer engineer.  She has a very careful and analytical eye for detail and sees important facts that others do not.  She makes many breakthroughs during the Prison Trial and Blake sees her as reliable.  She eventually becomes more talkative and social and develops into a reliable and confident person thanks to Blake and Leon and she and Blake fall in love.  She has a calm and weary voice with a slight robotic tone to it.
