Short story character narration (rough read only needed)
Monique Nicole for Amira
Amira
Megan's neighbour and Polly's flatmate. And now, the puzzle pages of the Sunday paper: crossword, sudoku,, etc. Thoroughly pissed off this is happening to her, and horrified by the irony of being in her own home in this helpless form
(Although Megan narrates the story and has 75% of the lines, I would like to experiment with including some dialogue from the other people in the story. Each secondary character has about 100 words.)

This must be a dream. Too much obsessing about all the newspapers Polly brings home and leaves lying about. It's like I'm flat, printed and trapped between all those paper pages; lost in the news
Fuck, it really is Polly. She's going to actually buy me. Pol, pol! Hey, it's me! No, don't tuck us under your arm
Polly's going to fold me in half and I can't even complain about it. She's going to scribble into my crossword....No, Polly, use a pencil! Do not write on me in Sharpie. And ouch, be careful folding me. I'm your flatmate, not a newspaper!
