Santa Sam looks like Serious Sam in a Santa suit with a fake beard, but is actually a different person. Apparently, many people believed that he actually was Santa until a kid pulled his beard off one day. After that, he disappeared from the public's view.

A few years later, Serious Sam found him selling ice cream on a beach while still wearing his Santa outfit. Sam gave him an offer to join him and take out Mental. Santa Sam accepted, and now he delivers very lethal gifts to Mental's forces.
