Queen Amalie has a crush on her daughter’s betrothal Sorrow. She wants Rebecca to marry him because she can't and she thinks that Sorrow is the example of the perfect stallion. She thinks he can make Rebecca happy and that she could learn to love him, and he could tame her wild rebellious spirit. Amalie also loves Sorrow because of his power. She wants Rebecca to marry him aswell to gain that power. Amalie also forces Rebecca to do the things that she thinks are best not caring about Rebecca's feelings on the subject, and allowing her no say so in her future. She is very strict with Rebecca and often abuses her for not obeying. She is 40
Amalie’s voice is commanding, haughty and cold and lacks motherly warmth to Rebecca. When she speaks to Rebecca her voice is dripping with disapproval and sarcasm because she thinks Rebecca is a mistake and an improper princess. She should also have a british(english) accent
(harsh) I don't care about what you want, i just want you to marry who i deem acceptable, such as that strapping young stallion Sorrow
(Irritated) Rebecca as soon as you let go of your foolish dreams and do what i say your life will be so much easier, i might even learn to love you
