Reinwin (Acting+Singing)

Reinwin (early 20s) is a burnt-out former "gifted kid." After losing her scholarship to a prestigious magic academy, she's been working herself to the bone to save up enough for tuition. Anxious, easily overwhelmed, she only partially succeeds at covering her deep self-loathing with her intelligence and wit. 

The tone of the project's dialogue is very grounded and messy, so feel free to improvise, play with tempo, self-interruptions, stuttering-- Reinwin especially is someone who struggles to express herself with words. 

In the future full project, Reinwin's queerness, ADHD, and depression will be further explored. There will also be harsh language and intense moments, akin to a TV-MA rating. No explicit sexual content is planned. 

This specific casting call is for a short that will be featured as part of 810nicle Day's "Beyond Bionicle" segment. The deadline for the completed segment is 7/8, so it'll be a pretty quick turnaround. 

The scene features a few lines of dialogue and one song. 

For this specific clip, the pay is $100 total. For the full pilot and future appearances, the rate is $3/line with a $100 minimum.
