Screen Writer

Role Description: 

 As a Screenwriter, you will help develop and write episodes for an ongoing Minecraft roleplay series. You’ll work closely with the creator to turn story ideas into engaging scripts, create memorable character interactions, and help maintain continuity across the series. The ideal candidate understands storytelling, character development, comedy, drama, and can adapt to established lore and worldbuilding. Responsibilities

• Write episode scripts based on outlines and story concepts.
• Create natural and engaging dialogue for characters.
• Help brainstorm episode ideas, story arcs, and character development.
• Ensure consistency with existing lore and continuity.
• Balance comedy, drama, action, and emotional moments.
• Collaborate with voice actors, builders, and production staff when needed.
• Revise scripts based on feedback.
• Meet writing deadlines.

Requirements:

• Strong English writing and grammar skills.
• Basic understanding of storytelling structure.
• Ability to write believable character dialogue.
• Familiarity with Minecraft roleplay content.
• Ability to work within an established universe and cast.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience writing scripts, stories, fanfiction, or roleplays.
• Familiarity with series such as Minecraft roleplays, animated shows, or character-driven storytelling.
• Understanding of pacing, character arcs, and season planning.
• Experience using Google Docs or similar collaboration tools.
