Garreem is from the Crowns' region of Hammerfell, a veteran of the great war and descendant of Cyrus (from Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard); after being relieved from the Hammerfell fighting due to a Thalmor Justiciar blinding his right eye and practicing fighting with half his vision; Garreem made his way to Skyrim to work as a mercenary.

Leaving with a scimitar and the clothes on his back, Garreem managed to do a few small jobs before finding himself in Whiterun; stopping by the Drunkan Huntsman as a mysterious player arrives.
