A former NSA codebreaker who defects to the Soviet Union prior to the events of the game. She becomes a double agent working to help Snake complete his mission by infiltrating Volgin's base, while helping Snake she ends falling in love with him in the process. Later goes on to become the surrogate mother of Solid Snake and Liquid Snake and a founding member of The Patriots. Will also appear in Guns Of The Patriots.
