s0Lr for Composer/Sound Editor
This is the last staff related audition.
This is a scene for the composers to try and score, you can send me a sample of what you created and i make sure to check it out.
Here
Here some music reference for this scene. Right here
Is there a required Genre? Not really, but there some genres i kind of prefer but you can do what ever you want.
Here are my prefer genres, Orchestral, Electronic, Ambient, Jazz, Rock. i don't mind some EDM.
I kind of want the music to be the likes of Masafumi Takada. If i pick a orchestra style i prefer it to be like Grant Kirkhope.
But you can still audition for this role but there one more slot left.
*Introduce yourself*
*Shows samples of the work or projects you did.*
*Explains the equipment and programs you use* Example my equipment, a Roland JV1080 and Audacity to record and edit.
I use Ableton Live 9, and I something I forgot to mention is that I mainly make ambient music.
I also added a song I made a while ago into the background of that audio file you have. I posted it to SoundCloud https://soundcloud.com/user-42556360/wooby
Hello there! well you can actually score a scene what i linked, but show it to me when your done.
I also added a reference in the info.
But... But I did...
I forgot to remind you, that i am having trouble accessing the soundcloud link it claimed to be removed or missing.
This should work. https://soundcloud.com/user-42556360/wooby
thank you
I got some questions, what genres you can do other then EDM and Dubstep?
Pretty much anything, Ambient, Electro Orchestra, Trance, Trap, House, Hip Hip, Drum & Bass, etc.
Though I do mostly make ambient music.
I am more of a trance and orchestra dude, but some video game OSTs i like have some hip hop tones and trance OSTs like perfect dark and timesplitters. I also like house, But can you score the scene with something like those? it be interesting.
Okay
So I was experimenting with scoring the scene using trance and house. I don't think the scene is energetic enough for anything more energetic than electro orchestra or mellow ambient music. So, I scored it with the only electro orchestra song I made that I could find. https://soundcloud.com/user-42556360/hehe
i recommend adding electronic percussion
