Tae Kwon Donkey - Issue 1
CerberusDubs for Voice Actor - Tae Kwon Donkey
LEAD ROLE
Tae Kwon Donkey is the reluctant protagonist of the Tae Kwon Donkey Universe...a martial arts comic series blending absurd anthropomorphic action with emotional mythology, philosophy, and consequence.
Despite the ridiculous surface appearance of the world, Tae is emotionally sincere, introspective, conflicted, and spiritually exhausted. He is not a traditional heroic protagonist.
The ideal performance should balance:
- quiet emotional weight
- subtle humor
- uncertainty
- restrained intensity
- philosophical conflict
This role should NOT sound:
- overly cartoonish
- overly deep/trailer-like
- overly confident/anime-protagonist
Think:“A reluctant martial artist trapped inside an absurd mythological world.”
This is a recurring lead role with future trailer, motion comic, and promotional potential.

“Even if I fight every fight and win… we’ve already lost… what we’ve already lost.” (Introspective - recurring theme line for Tae Kwon Donkey)
“Speaking of saving it… how exactly are we supposed to stop the Claw and Order with a bunch of useless art? …So now we’re gonna kill them with poems?” (Demonstrating his sarcasm, quippiness, and reluctant energy)
“You are right, Crab… I’m just a lazy ass… and when I say ‘ass’… I mean… DONKEY!!!” (Beaten to a pulp...his come back moment...breaking out of his nature and finally having a big hero moment)
Hey Cerebus, I like your sarcastic "B" lines. The vocalization and inflections in this section do fit the character. I think the first lines were a little too drab and eeyore like. Which based on my description may feel like a fit...but he has a quick fast imagination. Its introspective. Hes depressed yes...but his mind moves a million miles a minute. Also the last line didn't quite have the "final battle" cadence I'm looking for for this one. But I really appreciate you taking the time for this!
