Tae Kwon Donkey - Issue 1
Orange Blue Hue for Voice Actor - Tae Kwon Donkey
LEAD ROLE
Tae Kwon Donkey is the reluctant protagonist of the Tae Kwon Donkey Universe...a martial arts comic series blending absurd anthropomorphic action with emotional mythology, philosophy, and consequence.
Despite the ridiculous surface appearance of the world, Tae is emotionally sincere, introspective, conflicted, and spiritually exhausted. He is not a traditional heroic protagonist.

“Even if I fight every fight and win… we’ve already lost… what we’ve already lost.” (Introspective - recurring theme line for Tae Kwon Donkey)
“Speaking of saving it… how exactly are we supposed to stop the Claw and Order with a bunch of useless art? …So now we’re gonna kill them with poems?” (Demonstrating his sarcasm, quippiness, and reluctant energy)
“You are right, Crab… I’m just a lazy ass… and when I say ‘ass’… I mean… DONKEY!!!” (Beaten to a pulp...his come back moment...breaking out of his nature and finally having a big hero moment)
Hey friend. I really appreciate this submission. The tone of the voice is great...but the message of each line is a bit lost. For example...the first line is mostly introspective - but your delivery came across a bit fearful. Its more like a statement to himself...showing he is smart and capable...but can't find a reason to fight. The second line was your best delivery and I did enjoy that. I mentioned to another person that he probably wouldn't pronounce words like "poems" so cleanly hitting every vowel sound. Because of his low effort nature. The last line is supposed to be more anime ending - like his big counter attack build up. It is mid fight. and when he shouts donkey its basically when he throws his big finishing move. I appreciate you taking the time for this!
Gotcha! Thank you so much for the feedback, I definitely misunderstood the direction for the last line; I thought the fight had ended and he was reflecting in a humble manner. Would you be interested if I redid my takes and sent in another submission?
