Avery is a 16 year old Guardian. She protects the force of nature known as air. She is really protective and easily angered. She is best friends with Dakota. Her and Dakota grew up together and have trained side by side for eight years. She has the ability to shift into any kind of bird, though she prefers to turn into a blue-jay. She can have a Texan accent, but not a big one. It's almost not noticeable. She can also have a really warm and welcoming voice.
You're not allowed to die! We're the last of our species, why can't you get that through your head already?! (really angry) Are you trying to leave me alone Dakota? Is that what you're going for? Is that what you want? (calming down) We can't lose each other, Joseph even said so. You fought like Hell to bring me to you, so why do you want to throw it all away like it's worth nothing?
(worried) You're not going alone. (stubborn) I'm with you till the end, you know that. You're not allowed to leave on a dangerous mission like that unless I'm going to be there to make sure you don't get yourself killed.
(upset but not really sad) My mother hated me. My father was killed. My cousin, well he's out there somewhere (remembering him makes her happier) he used to play this dumb music all the time. Then he left too, and I was alone. Then soon I guess I just found myself here. Unsure what was next. Only knowing that I was immortal, there was no way to escape my pain.
