Rats is a bit of a fussy kid, not very well-versed in how to interact properly with other people and tends to speak her mind. Despite being rather clever for someone her age, she acts recklessly and sometimes may hyper focus on one thing at a time.
Her voice falls more into the high range with the slightest bit of a rasp. I'd suggest listening to Madeleine Peters' Scootaloo or Charlyne Yi's work if you want to hear what I'd imagine Rats' voice to sound like. Again, you don't have to follow this too closely; feel free to do your own interpretation!
(suspiciously) What's that lady doin' with the side room?
(struggling childishly) I'm twelve! Now-grr- Let go! I gotta find somethin!
(conversationally) What's with that weird jacket anyways? You think you look cool or somethin?
