Lt. Haffner is a young man, who serves as the second in command of the Second Infantry Company of the Heer Forces.

The young lieutenant has sworn an oath to protect the city of Kandrid and it´s people and would happily risk his own life to watch both flourish in peace.

Although he often sports a well mannered and friendly demeanor, he gets worked up when he is reminded of the situation in the overrun city districts and the horrors that happen within them.

Haffner will occassionally appear as a side character throughout the series.
