Iron Stride is an Earth Pony and former captain of the Royal Guard.  His military record and reputation commanded the respect of his peers, and he gained a following.  Over time, however, Iron Stride's ideals of a more military-focused Equestria put him at odds with Princess Celestia.  This disagreement eventually turned into bitter vitriol and Iron Stride deserted the Royal Guard, as did those loyal to him.  Iron Stride went on to form the New Guard, a splinter faction set on converting Equestria into a nation of strong military might.  Iron Stride is a secondary recurring antagonist.


For his voice, try to go for gruff sounding.  Maybe something along the lines of Lance Henriksen.

  • The way I see it, there's no good or bad aliens.  It's just us and them.  

  • For all of Celestia's power and wisdom, she's soft.  She should have destroyed the likes of Discord and Sombra long ago when she had the chance.

  • Consequences--none of us are free from them.
