You will be playing a generic news radio presenter. The film takes place vaguely in the 50's - 60's so we'll need your performance to fit this era. This is a film that is serious in tone, I do not want a cartoonish or anime-style performance. I want the dry news readings of a radio presenter from the era.

Any English speaking accent from USA, UK, or Canada will work. The more quality voice variants you can do the better. 

I am also interested in native speakers of others language to submit recordings in their native language that are accurate to the time period (would love a French reading). Please translate the below lines into your native language as part of your audition if you can provide this.

We need clean recordings with professional gear. Do not add any effects to your recordings as our sound team with process them in post. 

In your audition please slate by reading "Fistname Lastname, reading for News Presenter" in your natural voice. Auditions without slates will be rejected. Please include your email and timezone in your audition comments.
