Matteo for Protagonist
The character is an engineer in a dystopian futuristic world. He isn't physically strong and is initially shocked to be chosen for a space colonization mission. As players conquer more planets, he grows from being terrified to being more confident and determined.
Think "anxious-but-brilliant". He has a bit of that frantic, high-energy Shaggy (Scooby-Doo) quality, but he needs to sound like a real person surviving a dystopian world, not a caricature. I'm looking for a collaborator who wants to "own" this character for the long term.

Hi Matteo, thanks for the quick turnaround! I really appreciate you getting an audition over to us so fast. After reviewing it, we've decided that the accent and vocal style aren't quite the right match for what we have in mind for this specific character. We are definitely open to accents in this project, we actually have several other roles that feature them, but for this particular part, we’re looking for a different direction. This one's probably on me though, I got lost within the choice of available accents so I wasn't sure which option would match a native American accent. Thanks again for the interest in the project, and I wish you the best of luck with your upcoming auditions! :)
