John Grayson is a DC Comics character, best known as the father of Dick Grayson (Robin/Nightwing) and husband to Mary Grayson. A devoted family man and professional trapeze artist with Haly's Circus, he is one-third of "The Flying Graysons". His murder by mobster Tony Zucco acts as the pivotal origin story for his son becoming Batman's sidekick.
