Have worked in paid and unpaid roles but decided to go back to education and take "acting for stage and screen" at my local university. Currently on my 2nd year and just wrap my 3rd stage performance.
One of the reasons I went back to education was a producer replacing me, without telling me, with the self service tills actor from Poundland. Apparently he thought having a "professional actor" would attract more listeners and said actor offered to do all the editing if everyone else was let go .....
So yeah, despite having been in productions that aired on SiriusXM, I was thrown away like trash and informed it was a "email error" that I wasn't informed. Five years of friendship means nothing in this industry sadly ....
So moving forward, in an attempt to improve my acting ability, I'm trying to expand myself with editing podcasts whilst summer vacation kicks in. Hoping to get some more more roles unpaid and paid.
