Angelise is the best friend of the protagonist Malia and shares her dream of becoming a singer. Angelise is very friendly and is a social butterfly; she is the type of person to never have too many friends. She is one of the most liked girls at school, but she humbles herself and never shows off her popularity. She is extremely talkative, outgoing, and bubbly. She was never really interested in committing to one friend until she meets the protagonist. Angelise is a very dutiful person, so she decides to become a loyal side-kick and help with Malia's cause. Despite her quality attributes, Angelise can be very pessimistic and cowardly. She shies to the idea of fighting and doesn't want anything to do with getting her hands dirty. She is a 'prissy girl' through in and throughout (and yells/screams a lot), but she is very intelligent and is quick to catch onto things that most will not.
She has pale pink dyed hair, dark amber eyes, and tan skin (the picture doesn't show it, but she is kind of darker). She's also Filipino and in the 10th grade. Her younger sister is called Hazel.
