Voice Description

Alia has a natural uppity quality to her voice, sounding cheerful in most situations. She's awkward when dealing with people/things she's not familiar with. She instinctively holds hope in others, entrusting that they will do right by themselves and those around them. Which can be considered admirable or foolish given her circumstances. 

Character description
Alia is a Malignant and the self-proclaimed sister of Grace. She wishes to change things around her for the better. She understands how the world she's in works and accepts it for what it is. She's not spiteful or filled with hate because of the things she's gone through. She considers every experience, good and bad, as an opportunity to learn something new about herself/others. She's a bit of a tech wiz, getting overly enticed in the subject and at times, accidentally talking over the heads of others. She doesn't deal with people in person too well, coming across as awkward, and prefers to keep to herself as she takes in the world around her.

  • "How long you wager it'll take us to find your breaking point? [Pause] ...I'm just  asking! I get that you want to prove your worth, make a statement and all that jazz...but you need to look after yourself more. Okay?

  • 1)[She's being responded to over a communications channel.]
    [Humming to herself] "Hm? Oh! Sorry...I thought it would help calm everyone's nerves....[nervous laugh]...I'll just mute myself."
    2)[Should sound like she's in tears by the end of the line.]
    "No more. I refuse to keep playing the silent spectator...I've sat back and watched you commit so many atrocities, using Luke's memory to serve as an excuse for what boils down to murder! I love you...but I won't allow you to carry on like this. As a Malignant, you know you can't deny me...so please...leave. Walk out of your own will...please."

  • "I have friends...I  mean there's Grace, then again she's more family than friend. [Laughs] Love you, sis. All of you guys here in the movement, that counts! Um... There's also this sweet little girl I hangout with at the park...sometimes. [Ponders for a moment] Being honest, who needs friends anyway? Their just something we use to validate ourselves and to reconfirm that someone, somewhere cares about you...[Nervous laugh]...I mean, I have friends."
