A pale tan man of average height with grey hair with a bald spot at the top of his head. He has a thick grey mustache to match, and black eyebrows. He can be seen in semi-formal comfortable clothes, such as a shirt and vest. He can be seen in a brown fedora in his debut and most of the time throughout the series. He seems like a serious man, worried about his grandson's well being quite often. He, alongside his wife, wouldn't allow Logan to receive self-defense training until he and his wife met Ashlyn's parents. He somehow has access to tranquilizers.
