Voice Description

Her voice is imagined as medium-low in tone with a subtle roughness, and bass to it. A voice that demands your attention and is not easily spoken over. She speaks mostly as if she were uninterested in the conversation she's been caught in, like taking part is a chore unless it involves her little sister, Nina, When conversing with Nina, she seems fully enticed by the conversation and carries a softer tone.

Character Description

Carla Jae or 'CJ' is a woman in her mid twenties working for a government funded security detail. As a child, she was orphaned to never know what companionship or to have a family was like as she roamed the streets of Isha. This was until she was adopted in her preteen years. Due to an unfortunate chain of events, Carla Jae and her newborn baby sister are currently the only surviving members of the family. While technically sisters, Carla Jae was thrust into caring for Nina as if she were her mother. Even after years of being her caretaker, Carla Jae does not assume the role of Nina's mother and has made it clear that the two are merely sisters. The world of "Evermore" is morally corrupt and is being torn apart by an ensuing war. Malignant, artificially enhanced humans, are being produced as weapons of war and as deterrents for rebellious uprisings. Carla Jae is one such Malignant, with her body constantly riding on highs and experiencing crippling withdrawals. Her mind slowly warping into a mindless killing machine while trying to retain her one truth: She lives to protect Nina and the hope she carries with her. Carla Jae is a character who is going to be hitting a wide range of emotions and the person who voices her needs to be able to emote that in both, dramatic and subtle manners. She is a person that doesn't care to converse, as such she doesn't have a lot of experience with people outside of her sister.

Carla Jae is much more open with her sister and loves her dearly. Because of this, she'd be hesitant to deny/refuse her sister something. Throughout the line, it should sound as if you're searching for the right words to say as you carry on. Carla Jae absolutely wants to deny this unknown request of Nina's but in the nicest way possible. Which isn't Carla Jae's strong suit as she tends to be more sharp tongued and blunt.
[Sounds exhausted then slowly builds to a more emotional, almost pleading tone.]
"Nina, please...I do not have the energy for this. We've discussed this already, I'm not...you're not becoming THIS. Okay? I don't want this for you. You're my sweet baby sister with the big, bright smile and I can't...I won't lose that. I don't belong on a pedestal as a person, a malignant, and especially not as your big sister. Keep that reserved for someone else..."
Throughout the line, it should sound like she's fighting the urge to yell. As if she's muffling her own emotions.
[An annoyed tone on the verge of yelling.]
"M.L.K. was just a man that preached pacifism while inciting violence. A shit example for the delusional image you carry of the Runaways. Way I see it...if they stand in the way of your desires, fuck 'em. You could give everything of yourself or take everything you can get your hands on and this world would still tell you to screw off."
*Need efforts. Sounds that you would make when exerting force like when throwing or taking a punch. Try different intensities and finish up with a frustrated, sorrowful cry/crying. Does not have to be in one take.

Pan Darcy, aka "Had-a-career-but-that-went-up-in-flames", also aka "IRL Lebanese Mother of 11 Children Roleplayer" is a childcare worker and pre-school teacher singing nursery rhymes and dynamically reading storybooks out aloud to her children in the daytime, but during night time and the weekends, she finds a way to attempt to reinvent her name while trying to rebuild a creative career while demonic voices bombard her psyche saying "You'll never be good enough."

One night, while Pan Darcy in her true state fell into a deep sleep, a strange light illuminated her dark and gloomy room and cartoon Mt. Olympus unveiled before her very eyes. Glorified Mr. Peanutbutter came forth and said "Pam Dipsy, Voice of the Heavens, desperate asswipe you shall be NO MORE!" And Mt. Olympus closed up on her.

Pan Darcy awakened from her deep sleep and stared into space with glazed eyes and a confused state of mind. "Shit," she said, "I drank too much plum wine last fucking night. Anyway, it's kid care time."

Today was a new day, but for Pan, it was still kid care day.

Introduction:

Alright, let's be serious now. I'm Wendy, a polythreat powerhouse creative talent, otherwise known as the notoriously but charmingly (sometimes) sloppy creative talent with a "voices in her head" problem, Pan Darcy.

As a voice actress, my large voice range allows me to portray characters from children, boys and girls, to contralto villainesses.

As an entertainer, I am darkly comedic, filled with pits-of-hell, bloody, gory jokes for the audience to savour (Mmm, blood). I am also witty, blunt and rather deductive albeit well-meaning.

As a project leader, I am powerful, a pillar-of-strength type of woman who will keep a team in formation.

History:

I initially started out as an artist for Kane Carter's "Five Night's at Freddy's" fangame "POPGOES" (2016), where I helped with drawing the cryptic images that pop up in the game. Moreover, I've made comic pages and concept art [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] relating to the fangame itself.

Sooner or later, I embarked on a journey in an attempt to complete my own FNAF inspired project, "Fazfreak Circus" (supposedly 2018). It had VAs and all, hand-casted by me with the significant roles under the advice of people I looked up to, Kane himself included. However, self-admittedly, due to a traumatizing personal incident mid-2016, I began to lose strength for developing the project and slowly waded off without informing any of the VAs until late this year. I'm still unsure if there's a chance I'll want to make it to the deadline, late 2018, in any way, shape or form.

Currently, I am training to become a certified childcare worker and preschool teacher, as well as working as one. Moreover, I am trying my hand at doing some voiceover work and is currently cast in a project as an extra. I'm also trying to help out with other people's ORIGINAL games as much as I can, where I hope I'll be able to get back into the groove of creative work from square one.
