Sonic: Velox 3D Animated Fan Series
Fautyr for Silver The Hedgehog
Silver comes from a future devastated by time instability. He grew up believing that Velox, legendary beings connected to speed and time, caused the collapse. He is determined to stop what he believes is the source of the problem. He is focused and serious, but underneath that determination is doubt and fear that he might be wrong.
His voice should feel youthful, around late teens to early twenties, with natural intensity. He is not too deep or too high. He should sound urgent and driven in tense moments but also capable of softness and uncertainty when he faces the unknown. He reacts to the world around him. Sometimes he questions, sometimes he pushes forward, and sometimes he struggles with conflicting feelings. He should never sound overly heroic or dramatic. He is a young character carrying a heavy responsibility.
Performance notes
- Convey belief and conviction even when unsure
- Shift naturally between confidence and caution
- Sound empathetic while staying firm
Voice references
Think of modern portrayals of Silver but with a sense of mistrust and urgency shaped by his upbringing and the Velox propaganda. Actors should bring their own take while keeping his personality intact.

"I have chased this moment across time. I will not fail, even if I am wrong."
"So you're one of them... I always thought it was just a legend. Now I know what I must do!
"Everything points to you. I can’t ignore what I’ve seen!"
I tried my best to match my performance to the Tone of the Story Described. Of Course, there’s only so much you can do without complete Context. I assume that Silver is talking to a perceived Enemy in lines 2 and 3 (Sonic Maybe?). Where as in Line 1, he could be talking to anyone; Himself, a Friend or a Foe.
I kind of describe my takes as a calm Pete since I sound like him at times(arguably). I also bring some of his inflections as well while still bringing my own interpretation.
