CHARACTER BIO

Anna is a former AI engineer who worked on the Eidolware Project alongside her mentor, Dr. Morgana Morgan. The project aimed to guide people toward better life decisions using AI, but was shut down after a high-profile client followed the AI's guidance to career success while becoming emotionally isolated, ultimately leading to their suicide. The tragedy deeply affected Anna, causing her to leave the company. Before departing, she began work on the Failsafe, a device designed to sanitize Eidolware's code. Years later, after Dr. Morgan's suspicious death, Anna receives a mysterious package containing the Failsafe device. When activated, it detects a signal leading to the first piece of Eidolware at FedoraCon — a world completely unfamiliar to her.

PERSONALITY

Intelligent, reserved, and driven by responsibility. Anna is stepping into an unfamiliar world (anime convention culture) while carrying the weight of her mentor's death and a failed AI project. She's skeptical but adaptable, dry-witted but not cold. She's processing grief while maintaining professional composure.

  • Look, Susie, I appreciate you sponsoring me, but I should be upfront - I'm not just here for the convention experience. I need to meet with Fedora Mask about personal business.

  • Right. So I need to talk to the guy who thinks vinyl figures have mystical powers. This day keeps getting stranger.

  • Not quite. It's a device I've been working on. I didn't expect it to interact with the convention's holographic systems like this.
