Hello! We were thinking about ways to make this more authentic and we decided to look for a composer! I am looking for 1-3 people to help create original music for the Joy of Life machinima series. This is so one person doesn't get overloaded with work!

This role would involve creating background tracks that help support the tone of scenes — emotional moments, friendships, tension, and general atmosphere.

Music requests would be occasional, not constant, and tracks would typically be short background pieces used during scenes.

• Creating original background music for scenes

• Possibly helping develop a main theme for the series

• Producing short tracks that can be reused across episodes when appropriate

• Delivering audio files that can be easily used in editing

We have monthly meetings that fall on Friday, usually later at night to accommodate work schedules. This is usually 9PM EST.

• Enjoys creating cinematic or atmospheric music

• Can match music to emotional tone of scenes

• Communicates clearly about timelines and progress

• Is comfortable working collaboratively with the editing team

• A sample of your music (YouTube, SoundCloud, Google Drive, etc.)

• The software you use to compose/produce music

• Your availability

• Your time zone
