Orange is Adeline’s old best friend from middle/high school. His father, Thorne Bailey, is well-known and influential, and Orange has grown up constantly living in that shadow. People recognize his last name before they recognize him, which has made him resent the identity he was born into.

He’s creative and talented in his own way and works as an underground artist, trying to build something separate from his family name. But the pressure from his father and the expectations placed on him make it difficult for him to fully break away.

Because of that frustration and lack of control over his own life, he ends up getting involved in some bad decisions and questionable circles. Despite that, he is genuine when it comes to Adeline. She’s one of the only people who knew him before everything became complicated. The problem is that when it comes down to it, his fear of his father and the life he’s trapped in tends to win.
