Two out of two Sonic characters that are in this Casting Call. Cubot is the other robotic aide that Dr. Eggman has created. Though unlike Orbot, he's not too bright and jokes fly over his head almost all the time. Some would even say without Orbot, Cubot would probably have trouble functioning.


This may be a hard one to perform but I think someone will get this voice down. This role requires a lot of voice switching and a robotic filter. Like Cubot however for this audition you can not a robotic filter. If you need reference for Cubot's voice then check out these links.

  • "You know what? My voice chip hasn't acted up in awhile I wonder if //He gets hit. His voice changes into a Cowboy's// Hey watch what ya-- Ah dag nubbit!"

  • "Hey Boss when we get back to airship can I get an upgrade like Metal?"

  • //In pirate voice// "Argh! I'm so glad to call ye one on me first mates Orbot. Now let's hunt for the treasure!"

This was good! Though you made Danger realize that Kermit the Frog and Cubot sound pretty similar. The voice change was good but the pirate one could use some work. Other than all that this was a great audition. Thank you!

    I decided to do the cowboy voice not in his original tone to see what it would sound like, and the pirate one using the same tone as his normal voice as a bit of experimentation. That's why the pirate one sounds weird lol I wanted to try both ways
