Before becoming Balloon Boy, he was Benny Brooks, a shy but curious eight-year-old who loved fairs and spent hours handing out balloons at his parents’ stall to help them. After his disappearance, his spirit lingered in the cheerful but uncanny balloon vendor animatronic. Now, as Balloon Boy, he keeps a childlike, playful personality, giggling, teasing and pulling harmless pranks on adults, especially night guards. He isn’t truly malicious but delights in mischief and attention, sometimes acting as a messenger or scout for other animatronics while still clinging to the innocent joy of giving out balloons.
