Well, I've examined the body thoroughly and I have concluded that she was not a Fae. Perhaps Ping is, but at this point in the investigation we don't know. The body doesn't have any magical injuries or burns.
I can see how the evidence would be consistent with that theory. With magic you can't take anything for granted.
