Arial is Raphael’s first retainer, who USED to be his caregiver, when the Lexiss family were away. His main goal is protecting Raphael from any kind of danger, no matter what it is. He cares for his master so much, that the only thing that he has in mind is protecting Raphael and absolutely nothing else.

This fact shows, that he has an undying loyalty towards Raphael, as he would do ANYTHING for him. Which strangely enough, makes him sound more like a butler then an actual “Retainer” for that matter. Before he was a caregiver, he used to be a young Mary Sue hunter, who used to work for Makoto at a very young age. Particularly at the age of “10”. 

He may be very young at an age like this to be fighting Mary Sues, but he was surprisingly an excellent and brave fighter, which made Makoto “Fully” hire him into working for Anti Sueism. But after only 4 years of training and Sue hunting, he eventually convinced Makoto that he wanted to retire and start a new hobby for a change. 

Makoto kindly let him go, and Arial began his journey, into exploring the northern areas of Senshi. A week later, he noticed that Siegfried was worried about something. He walked towards him and asked him what the problem was. He says that his family gets out of the palace very often, but there was nobody who could keep an eye on his youngest sibling, Raphael.

Arial decided to help his family out on protecting Raphael, since he was a very kind young man, during his childhood days. Arial often LOVED spending time with Raphael, when the boy was an innocent 4 year old toddler. He usually brought Raphael outside, and take him to different areas in Senshi for him to explore. 

Other times, when Arial and Siegfried were younger, they went to the same school together, as well as enjoyed having conversations about school subjects.  6 Years later, Siegfried finally decided that Arial should be Raphael’s retainer now, after many years of taking great care of him.
