Mei-Mei Moonbrew is a wandering vagrant-trader from the misty hills of Jadeleaf Province, renowned for her tea alchemy—blends that heal, soothe, and spark vivid dreams. Serene yet utterly unhinged, she sleeps wherever she lands (including the bakery before Penelope arrives) and serves as the group’s unpredictable wild card.
Soft, sleepy, soothing “tea monk” tone most of the time—calm even when things are weird.
Occasional sudden bursts of high energy/manic excitement (short, sharp spikes), then back to tranquil.
Dry, spaced-out humor like she’s half-dreaming.
(Drifting out of the shadows) Mm… what’s all the shouting about…? [Penelope & Daisy scream and start whacking her] Ow. Mm. Ow. Okay. That one was personal. (catches the broom mid-swing) If you’re finished… would you like to buy some mystic tea? (broom smacks it out of her hands) Wow. Rude.
(During Penelope's meltdown) [Penelope: “... And now I’m stuck with a drop of sunshine and a scraggly hobo!”] (upside down from the rafters, correcting her) Wandering vagrant. Titles matter. (slow blink) ...I am hanging UPSIDE DOWN... How did I get up here? I don’t know.
(Drifting out of the shadows... AGAIN!) Oooh. Conflict. (munching) ...I found popcorn in the rafters.
