Alice on Delivery - Original voice actor audition
Ekcoes for Issue
Issue is a ticket receptionist in Heartlier.
He is always tired, but tries to be kind to everyone. But as you can see, his eyes are quite dead. In fact, he has dark circles under his eyes because of his frequent overtime. He is a good worker, so he tries not to sigh or show bad manners in front of the customers.
Because of his shady appearance, his behavior sometimes causes misunderstandings. He has a lot of interest in skincare and beauty products (to hide his tired face). So if he asks something creepy… he’s really just interested in what kinds of beauty products you’re using.

this is Amazing, I can't lie.
Thank you! I appreciate that.
Is there any tips and tricks that you would give? To someone new to voice acting.
Certainly.
Always be sure to read through the character descriptions, performance notes, anything specified in the call and follow any guidelines that may be stated. Each call works a little differently and you don't want to be rejected because of some information you may have overlooked.
Always be receptive to constructive feedback on your performances, emphasis on constructive. We all strive to improve so anything that can be helpful should be seen that way. Don't let ego or pride get in the way of improvement.
When performing a character, always ask yourself "What emotional response do I want my scene partner/the audience to have?" and use that to guide yourself in how you portray a character.
And for this last one it's more of a technical thing. Get familiar with your DAW of choice and look into doing some basic cleanup work for your auditions so things like background noise, clicks, plosives, etc aren't ruining your takes.
These are some basic tips that I work with among others to perform the best that I can. Hope it helps and best of luck with your acting journey!
