Kylie Rutzen for LED-Boy

Unpaid

LED-Boy is the protagonist for a new platformer video game. He is a mute protagonist who communicates through short words and punctuation illuminated by a metronome style LED rod on his head, but needs to have a fun playful voice for vocal efforts.

I am open to general interpretation of the character vocal range, but pay close attention to the style of each effort.  Have fun with the character, be playful with the efforts, and if you have extra ideas for what could be a fun vocal effort for the character please feel free to add to the audition.

Hey there Kylie! Thank you for your submission.

First thing's first, I wanna make sure you read through all directions. a LOT of people missed 1) that I was looking for 2-3 takes in order to get a feel for your ability to give a variety of effort styles, and 2) to slate the audition, which is where you state your name or handle before the audition. It's important to follow not only because it may make things easier for the producer, but if you DONT follow the instructions, it might make said producer feel that if they were to hire you that you might follow to follow instructions moving forward. Would be a horrible waste because this submission sounded great! Wouldn't want you to miss out on a gig just because of something silly like that.

Absolutely loved the performance, I feel I'd have shortlisted you for this gig at the very least. I feel a lot of character with so few opportunities to show it off. That is very difficult to do, and I feel you did great at it!

Since it wasn't in the slate (Another reason in THIS case why it was important) were you just looking for feedback, or would you like to have this audition submitted for use in the podcast?
