Why do you people hole up in here, anyway? And why for so long?

I don’t know if you know, but I’m from Presedion, originally. You know… the kingdom that went to war with Lunaria. Funny thing about that; even our history books don’t really mention the reason for the war. Sure, they make generalized references to some ‘threat,’ something about Heartkeys being created and used against us. But I don’t think humans can just make Heartkeys. We can’t now, and I don’t think we could then. Still, for most, it was a good enough reason to go to war, and we fought. Now we have the Deadlands.

What, did you think it got destroyed in some epic battle? Oh, yes, there was a dragon, and I was dressed in shining armor. Saved the fair maiden, too, and she gave her body to me.
