LED-Boy is the protagonist for a new platformer video game. He is a mute protagonist who communicates through short words and punctuation illuminated by a metronome style LED rod on his head, but needs to have a fun playful voice for vocal efforts.

I am open to general interpretation of the character vocal range, but pay close attention to the style of each effort.  Have fun with the character, be playful with the efforts, and if you have extra ideas for what could be a fun vocal effort for the character please feel free to add to the audition.

Heya Meteor! Thank you for Slating your audition, reading through instructions is actually a very commonly missed item, so good job!

I liked your jump efforts, but I noticed for your BIG jump you basically did the same style of delivery for both takes. It was a GOOD style, but when you have two takes I would try to diversify the performance to give me as the producer more variation to choose from.

One thing I think might have been misunderstood was that the character is not meant to have any dialogue, the only actual WORDS would come from his little animations, and I was looking for actual verbal sfx. Hmmmmm... as opposed to verbalizing his thoughts.

Really liked your damage efforts, a good variety of style, simple, pitch and volume variance without shifting the character voice, very well done there~

Thank you for your submission!

Thank you for the feedback! This does help a lot! I almost make sure to read anything I'm auditioning for thoroughly, always important!Good point about the jump, I will totally keep that in mind for things I do where I have less takes to do. Usually if its more than 2 takes I do a lot more variety wise. But it should be the case no matter how many takes. And OOPS lol, I took the things in the parathesis LITERALLY and improvised a bit on accident. Force of habit since I work a day job doing improv all day.Thank you again for the feed back! Opportunities like this go a long way.

All of our habits good and bad slip into everything we do, so all good there! I'm glad that this was helpful! :D
