Cursed with Glorious Purpose for Shadow The Hedgehog
Shadow the Hedgehog is a brooding, powerful anti-hero created as the Ultimate Life Form. Driven by a painful past and a strong sense of purpose, he combines unmatched speed and strength with quiet determination, walking the line between darkness and redemption.
The voice we’re looking for for Shadow should be deep, controlled, and intense, with a delivery similar to Jason Griffith or David Humphrey. The performance should feel calm and intimidating rather than loud, carrying weight through restraint, grit, and deliberate pacing. This voice must convey inner conflict, resolve, and quiet menace, able to shift from cold detachment to fierce determination without losing control.
The voice actor must be comfortable with improvisation and able to react naturally during gameplay recordings, delivering lines that feel grounded and in-character in live scenarios. Experience with VRChat is a strong plus, as it allows for more expressive, physical performances during videos. If VRChat isn’t available, that’s no problem at all. We can pair the voice actor with a body actor and seamlessly dub the performance under the visuals.
