Antagonists. Introduced in Chapter 2.

A ragtag bunch of pirates, of varying sizes and species. Their voices vary by species and gender. There are cat-like pirates, bird-like pirates, reptilian pirates, and some gruff humans as well. Select one from below and audition with the attached line:

Murre McCaw the Pirate (Male Bird-like): You’ve all been underwater too long. Get a whiff of that sweet surface air and maybe it’ll clear out that superstitious nonsense of yours.

Percy the Pirate (Male Human): It’s all real, I tell you. My Pa told me, my Pa’s pa told me, my pa’s pa’s pa-

Reptilian Pirate (Male): A vixen of the sea… Luring men to their domain… And then… Eating the flesh of their bones!

Reidar the Pirate (Male Human): Oy, Cap’n. We reeled in a big fish!

Nabby the Pirate (Female Cat-like): We’re pirates, love, not raiders.

Shoot the Pirate (Male Cat-like): Means we ‘ave plans. A way to fatten that bounty tenfold!
