I think my effects might be a little heavy, but here is my (first) shot at sounding like Jim Taylor's Plo Voice
Not bad, needs to be a bit gruffer though
Yeah, Jim really gets a growl into his voice. I'll do another take when I next have the time, and I'll probably do an audition for the droid villain :D
The actual voice part is pretty much there on the first take. Ease up on the effects just a smidge, and you'll nail it. The one thing to remember is to slow down. Plo Koon is essentially space Gandalf-a powerful voice not in any kind of a rush.
