Secondary main character and antagonist/love interest. Likely the second most amount of lines in the show. **18+**
Adam is also a 17-year-old boy, but he's what you would often describe as more of a jock. So, it was to Benji Price's utmost surprise that Adam also raised his hand in 7th grade to say he wanted to go to Princeton. Ever since then, Benji's seemed to have some sort of vendetta against Adam, even going so far as to call him an "archnemesis." Adam has always been a bit too calm and collected to outwardly reciprocate Benji's rage toward him, especially as Adam begins (against his will, believe him) to fall just a little bit for his "archnemesis." There's just something, I guess, about his nerdy, hotheaded personality that draws the cool and smooth "heartthrob" (not my words) in.
While Adam is a jock and quite popular around Emerald Valley High, he's also an insanely intelligent rival to Benji, currently outcompeting him for the role of valedictorian - along with being a history geek and a linguistic maniac, Adam also has ADHD.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH FRENCH!! Adam is a huge French geek and uses the language multiple times throughout the script. Anyone auditioning must have an acceptable accent and be able to pronounce words in French.

(Benji, upset with being ghosted by Adam, barges into his house after waking up, hungover) *haughtily) Now you’re breaking and entering. (Benji yells at him for being blocked) I didn’t block you. My phone died. Because I was at the hospital all night. Because my sister had a leukemia relapse. So yeah, sorry if I’m acting a bit like a dick right now.
(Arguing with Benji, emotional unlike his usual precise banter) “I don’t mean to treat you like shit! I don’t fucking mean anything, jesus. Do you not understand? I’m trying my fucking hardest to keep everything together and then you come along, and goddammit. God. Fucking. Dammit.
(Bringing Benji to a party as a deal they made, explaining how Benji needs to act) *hesitantly* By the way… these are jocks. (Benji quips back, saying he can obviously tell) Obviously. But, just… try not to be so insufferably nerdy? Like, for instance, don’t say ‘insufferable’ or, or… fucking ‘facetious. (Benji whines about how his favorite word is 'insufferable') Of course it is.
