Role assigned to: Ishigami

Haruhiko is a soccer club member who is interested in his classmate Saki Kanda, and waits for her to actually confess her feelings.

Traits: --
Takase is probably the most normal character in the show. Nothing exceptional to take note of. Just sound like your average teenage boy experiencing emotions and you're good.

Voice Range: Medium-Low to Medium-High

  • This… must be a confession. I can’t believe this is happening.

  • (After Kanda asked if he liked anyone) What am I supposed to say in this situation? Should I be blunt and say ‘you’? But it doesn’t feel right to just steal her confession. ...Still, It’s not like I don’t have a crush…

  • (Embarrassed, trying to change topic) Wasn’t there something you wanted to talk about?

Hello! Thank you very much for your audition! What stood out the most to me was your expression. With exception of the third line, you sounded as though you were in relaxed, almost dismissive contemplation. Though a perfect recreation of what Takase sounds like in my head isn’t necessary to land the role, I’d like to see what you’re capable of in terms of emotion. What I recommend is putting yourself in his context. For the first line, a young high schooler is about to be confessed to by his love! What’s he feeling? Disbelief? Happiness? Shock? Whatever it may be, throw it all into your voice. And if you can’t decide on how to go about the line, do multiple takes!

I understand, i just watched the video you send me. I tried to recreate his voice and the scenario itself. But i also wanted to do more emotion like you said. Thanks for the advice, i will do it better next time!
