Lord Bartholomew is a brief antagonist at the start of the story. He is the catalyst of the plot, as he is the one who asks Camerin to make a contract. He is a prideful man, despite his looks he’s only mid 20s. He is a foreboding presence, often condescending and belittling. Hates anyone with magic, due to his father’s assasination by a warlock, and so is a cruel, stubborn man.

- The main lines he has in the trailer are of when he is angry, raising his voice to a near shout, speaking with almost a rasp.
