[Context:] After being caught in a dangerous situation while trying to prove himself, Sam lies injured and weak in Darren’s arms. His voice trembles as he tries to speak, struggling to get the words out. Despite the pain, his tone is gentle - full of regret, but also affection for his friend. "Just... wanted... to be... with you... I'm... sorry... I guess... I really wasn't... meant to join... the Cirque du Freak..."
