Damian Starr is a rich high school junior with an obsessive crush on his childhood best friend, Raiko. However, he was raised in an abusive, homophobic household, so all of the feelings he harbors for this friend are unlabeled and possessive.
Damian is basically that one annoyingly handsome guy who is good at everything without even trying. The way he feels about Leo in this one-shot is complicated. Raiko doesn't often make other close friends that threaten Damian's position as his #1 best friend. Now, Raiko and Leo are almost spending more time together than him and Damian.
In this short story, Damian's tone towards Leo should be a sort of playfulness that always has an undercurrent of envy and skepticism. It's almost like a test. Damian's very harsh and judgmental on the inside but never really lets it show to others. Also, he's pretty much always smiling. Think of Cirrus from “Lost In The Cloud”.

(Leo is looking for their shared friend, Raiko (Rye-koh) and is about to ask where he is before Damian interrupts.) “Raiko? Pff,” (pause to chuckle behind your hand.) “Always worried about Raiko. Like you’re his girlfriend or something." (teasing, joking but secretly spiteful)
(Damian has just put his jacket around Leo's shoulders and is very close to him, checking if it fits.) “There. Good?” (lower, calmer voice. still sort of teasing.) “Leonidas?”
