Role Description:
Kaison is the 19 year old long-lost twin brother of Kendall, believed dead after the carnival attack that claimed their parents. Instead, he was bitten by a vampire and resurrected as a dhampir, later discovered and raised in secret by the High Mage of Astronomancy. Trained in star-reading and card magic, Kanan walks a razor’s edge between light and shadow — his loyalty torn between the family he lost and the master who gave him power. Haunted by his urges and desperate to maintain control, he hides his true nature and existence from Kendall, a secret that will change everything when it’s revealed.
Personality Traits:
Reserved, mysterious, often difficult to read.
Fiercely loyal once trust is earned.
Constantly battling darker urges beneath the surface.
Both calculating and strangely fatalistic, shaped by star-reading.
Carries an air of tragedy, as though he already knows how his story ends.
Voice Notes:
Vocal Range: Mid to mid-low male. Smooth, steady, and articulate. Not booming, but carries quiet authority.
Tone/Style: Thoughtful, deliberate, and reserved — like someone who measures every word before speaking. Should have a contemplative, almost fatalistic air, as though he sees patterns in the stars that no one else can. His warmth is subtle and buried beneath restraint, but when emotion surfaces it feels sharp and raw.
Extras: Needs to balance sibling warmth (genuine, protective tones when speaking to Kendall) with the unsettling composure of someone hiding darker urges. Should feel magnetic, not theatrical — the kind of voice that draws you in quietly rather than overpowering you.
